The specialist will initially support and improve the following active websites, plus future websites launched by company.

Primary Responsibilities

Website Management

  • Maintain and update all company websites; create new pages, landing pages, and product/service pages.
  • Upload and organize products, images, catalogs, spec sheets, installation guides, case studies, and supporting documents.
  • Remove, redirect, or archive discontinued and outdated content while preserving SEO value where appropriate.
  • Maintain navigation, menus, categories, internal links, forms, calls-to-action, and lead-capture elements.
  • Ensure websites function correctly on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
  • Identify and repair broken links, page errors, formatting issues, and other website defects.
  • Coordinate with hosting providers, developers, or outside technical resources when specialized support is required.

SEO & Search Visibility

  • Perform on-page SEO for high-priority pages, including keyword research, page titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, image alt text, internal links, and content optimization.
  • Build product-, application-, location-, and industry-focused landing pages designed to rank and convert.
  • Monitor organic rankings, website traffic, indexing, technical SEO, redirects, sitemaps, and Search Console issues.
  • Review competitors and identify content gaps and search opportunities.
  • Support local SEO and Google Business Profile optimization as requested.

Product Website Management

  • Add new products, update current products, remove discontinued products, and maintain product categories.
  • Ensure every important product page contains accurate descriptions, features, applications, specifications, certifications, images, warranty information, spec sheets, and installation documents as available.
  • Create related-product and application links to improve customer navigation and SEO.
  • Coordinate product-information accuracy with Operations, Marketing, and the Marketing Operations & Content Specialist.

E-Commerce – BulbBasics.com

  • Maintain the online catalog, product pricing when provided, images, descriptions, categories, availability indicators, and merchandising.
  • Create promotional pages, coupons, featured-product placements, and campaign landing pages.
  • Identify opportunities to improve searchability, product-page quality, checkout flow, and conversion.
  • Coordinate with the U.S. team regarding inventory, product availability, and order-related website issues.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Maintain a monthly dashboard covering website traffic, organic traffic, top pages, rankings, leads/forms, e-commerce activity, pages created, products updated, issues fixed, and SEO improvements.

  • Use data to identify the next highest-value website and SEO priorities.
