Job Summary

The ideal candidate is a Talented Developer who has extensive technical expertise and can work independently or with a team to create, maintain, and update client websites in a variety of industries. Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and web applications and services is essential for succeeding in this role. Role will be responsible for web-to-print e-commerce sites and data connection points for internal open-source ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Gathering and evaluating user requirements, in collaboration with art director, designers, and product management team.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness).
• Create and understand complexity of design and have a firm understanding of the creative brief to create designs/assets to support the overall site functionality.
• Manage workflow connection between web platforms and ERP system
• Collaborate with other departments to meet client expectations
• Assist with product integration with web-to-print solution
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Create and maintain software documentation
• Maintain site security, backups, and changelogs.
• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities
• Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
• Develop and maintain API and data connection points.
• Work with outside development services when necessary.

Required Skills

Skills:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in web development or similar.
• 3+ years web / e-commerce industry experience. Candidates must supply a reference of developed platforms/domains, in conjunction to a resume including relative work history and experience.
• High proficiency in WordPress and Magento Platforms
• Strong understanding of HTML and CSS
• High attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Proven working experience in web programming
• Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript
• Must be a self-starter who demonstrates strong initiative
• Outstanding communication skills: both written and verbal
• Adequate knowledge of relational database systems
• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

NOTE:

• This role requires working timings from 6 pm - 3 am PKT or around (US-EST), Monday to Friday.
