Job Summary

A Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a warehouse, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory management. The role ensures that goods are handled safely and efficiently while maintaining accurate inventory records and meeting operational targets.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping activities.
• Supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with suppliers, customers, and transport teams.
• Ensure proper organization and utilization of warehouse space.
• Implement and maintain health, safety, and security procedures.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, and operational issues.
• Improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Prepare operational reports and monitor key performance indicators.
• Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, inventory, or supply chain management.
• Strong team management skills with the ability to supervise, train, and motivate warehouse staff.
• Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with employees, suppliers, transporters, and management.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, receiving, storage, and shipping procedures.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety and operational efficiency.
