Job Summary

A Warden is responsible for managing the daily operations of a hostel, boarding facility, or residential institution. The Warden ensures discipline, safety, cleanliness, and the overall well-being of residents while maintaining a secure and supportive environment.

Roles And Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage the daily operations of the hostel or residence.
  • Ensure the safety, security, and welfare of all residents.
  • Maintain discipline and enforce hostel rules and regulations.
  • Monitor resident attendance, entry, and exit records.
  • Handle complaints, concerns, and emergency situations effectively.
  • Coordinate with management, staff, and parents/guardians when required.
  • Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of rooms and common areas.
  • Maintain records, reports, and hostel documentation.
  • Oversee meal arrangements and other resident facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with hostel policies.

Required Skills

Skills And Qualifications:

  • Minimum Intermediate, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Warden, Supervisor, or Hostel Administrator is an advantage.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage residents and maintain discipline.
  • Good problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
  • Basic computer knowledge and record-keeping skills.
  • Honest, responsible, and well-organized personality.
  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies.
