Job Summary

A Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a pleasant dining experience. The role requires good communication, professionalism, and attention to customer needs.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers warmly and escort them to their tables
  • Present menus and explain food or drink items when needed
  • Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
  • Check on customers during meals to ensure satisfaction
  • Clear tables and maintain cleanliness of the dining area
  • Prepare tables before guests arrive
  • Handle bills and process payments when required
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff for smooth service
  • Resolve minor customer complaints politely
  • Follow hygiene and food safety standards
  • Assist in opening and closing restaurant duties
