Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.

  • Manage the reception desk and respond to telephone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
  • Register patients, verify personal information, and update records accurately.
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments according to departmental procedures.
  • Maintain patient files, medical records, and other administrative documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Direct patients and visitors to the appropriate departments or healthcare professionals.
  • Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and other hospital departments.
  • Process admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation as required.
  • Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
  • Perform data entry, filing, photocopying, and other administrative duties.
  • Monitor office supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as a Receptionist, Unit Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or Administrative Assistant is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and hospital information systems is an advantage.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
