Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a courteous and professional manner.
Manage the reception desk and respond to telephone calls, emails, and general inquiries.
Register patients, verify personal information, and update records accurately.
Schedule, confirm, and coordinate appointments according to departmental procedures.
Maintain patient files, medical records, and other administrative documentation while ensuring confidentiality.
Direct patients and visitors to the appropriate departments or healthcare professionals.
Coordinate communication between patients, medical staff, and other hospital departments.
Process admissions, transfers, and discharge documentation as required.
Maintain visitor logs and ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Perform data entry, filing, photocopying, and other administrative duties.
Monitor office supplies and request replenishment when necessary.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
Previous experience as a Receptionist, Unit Receptionist, Front Desk Officer, or Administrative Assistant is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and hospital information systems is an advantage.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
