Job Summary

A Data Analytics Trainer is responsible for equipping learners with the ability to collect, process, analyze, and interpret data to support decision-making. The trainer delivers hands-on training in statistical methods, business intelligence tools, and data visualization, enabling participants to transform raw data into meaningful insights for real-world applications.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver training modules on data analytics concepts, tools, and techniques.
  • Teach learners to collect, clean, analyze, and visualize data using tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, R, Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Conduct practical, hands-on exercises and real-world case studies to strengthen learning.
  • Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and assessments according to curriculum standards.
  • Assess and evaluate trainee performance through projects, assignments, and tests.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in data analytics and integrate them into training.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and feedback to learners to support their professional development.
  • Collaborate with management to improve course design and align training with industry requirements.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and statistical techniques

  • Proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio

  • Knowledge of programming languages (Python, R) for data analysis

  • Data cleaning, processing, and visualization

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving

  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple manner
