Job Summary

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook tandoori breads such as roti, naan, paratha, and chapati
  • Operate and manage the tandoor safely
  • Assist in dough preparation and basic kitchen food prep
  • Support chefs with daily kitchen tasks as required
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor area, kitchen, and equipment
  • Wash and arrange utensils and kitchen tools
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials
  • Follow hotel hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards
  • Assist in kitchen opening and closing duties

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Experience in making tandoori breads (roti, naan, paratha)

  • Ability to handle and operate the tandoor safely

  • Dough preparation and basic kitchen prep skills

  • Knowledge of kitchen hygiene & cleanliness standards

  • Physical stamina to work in a hot kitchen environment

  • Attention to detail in cooking and presentation

  • Teamwork and willingness to assist chefs
