Job Summary

A Supply Chain Coordinator is a professional who is responsible for managing inventory and supply sources to support a company's manufacturing and anticipated demand. Under the directive orders from the logistics manager, supply chain coordinators must also perform inventory cycle counts. As a Supply Chain Coordinator we are expecting a dynamic individual to look into some responsibilities mentioned below.

  • Manage day to day supply chain operations in a high paced trading business by maintaining high level confidentiality throughout.
  • Ensure the business practices of all distributors adhering to all the laws, regulations and compliance standards
  • Maintain, review and compare list of the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc
  • Verify the contents of Purchase Order in respect of calculation of price and terms and condition.
  • Follow up the Purchase Order till the delivery of items and invoices of supplier.
  • Liaise with supplier, buyer, technical and sales teams to ensure timely target achievements for continuous business development.
  • Prepare quotations efficiently with attention to detail as per requirements mentioned by the sales team.
  • Prepare, organize and dispatch shipment documents with minimum support of supervisor.
  • Negotiate with freight forwarders, where necessary, to achieve cost effective rates for sea freight, airfreight and land shipments
  • Provide optimum support to the Department Head to meet timelines.
  • Process insurance as per the need and guidelines of department head.
  • Prepare and keep updated various shipment lists and reports, product comparison sheets, fact-sheets, monthly, quarterly & yearly documents
  • Tender documentation preparation knowledge will be an added advantage
  • Maintain tracking sheet to forecast new orders
  • Prepare action plans for the team inline with company policy
  • Timely implementation of ideas & processes for continuous growth of ongoing business.

Required Skills
  • Atleast Bachelors degree from renowned University
  • Excellent Outlook and MS office skills
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Can maintain company work practices confidentiality and integrity
