Job Summary
Role and Responsibilities:
You will be responsible to:
- prepare and maintain preference cards of respective specialty on an annual basis
- Check and ensure guidelines provided in the surgeon’s preference card for the operative procedure are followed
maintain inventory of equipment and instruments including reuse / single-use items updated in his assigned specialty
- ensure OR preparation according to the list to assess needs and fulfill resource demands ahead of time
- ensure all preoperative preparation of OR as per requirement
- participates in checking and maintenance of capital equipment
- Train and prepare specialty team to circulate and scrub in the complex/major procedure independently a minimum of 3 – 4 staff per year
- updated PPM of equipment and reported findings to the Head Nurse and Assistant Manager
- facilitate the process of item evaluation and arranging alternative medical surgical items in case of unavailable items in coordination with the Assistant Manager.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
- Intermediate, Bachelor’s degree will be preferred
- Diploma in OT Technician
- At least five years of relevant experience from a reputed healthcare organization
- ability to effectively work in teams as well as independently and handle work pressure
- good communication skills.
