Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the boarding academy, fostering a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for all boarders.
Promote the educational, social, emotional, physical, and overall well-being of boarders through effective pastoral care and age-appropriate support.
Supervise boarding staff and oversee housekeeping, maintenance, asset management, and quality food and accommodation standards.
Ensure the health, safety, security, and well-being of all boarders while promoting positive behavior and a respectful living environment.
Build and maintain effective relationships with parents, schools, healthcare providers, the IYS Board, and other stakeholders to support students' overall development.
Monitor students’ academic progress, provide guidance and support where required, and coordinate timely interventions for students needing additional academic or personal care.
Maintain accurate records, implement boarding policies and SOPs, respond effectively to emergencies, and support the continuous improvement of academy operations.
Required Skills
Skills And Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree from a recognized institution.
2–5 years of relevant experience in hostel/boarding management, student affairs, education, or a similar role.
Strong leadership, people management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and administrative skills.
Ability to handle emergencies, maintain discipline, and work beyond regular hours when operationally required.
