Job Summary

Role Summary:

The Store Supervisor will be responsible for managing all aspects of store operations, including inventory control and efficient supply management. This role ensures the timely availability of site materials and the maintenance of organized storage facilities. It contributes to maximizing resource utilization by supporting the site team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Store Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the store.
    • Enforce AKCS-P's policies and procedures related to inventory and store management.
    • Ensure all materials and supplies are correctly labeled and stored.
  2. Inventory Management
    • Maintain, Track and manage inventory levels, ensuring stock availability according to site requirements.
    • Manage the issuance and receipt of goods, ensuring proper documentation for all transactions.
    • Coordinate with suppliers, conduct regular inventory checks, and maintain accurate records.
    • Conduct regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy.
    • Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requisitions as needed.
  3. Procurement and Logistics
    • Coordinate with the procurement team, vendors, suppliers, and project teams for the timely procurement of materials.
    • Manage transportation and delivery logistics for materials to project sites.
    • Supervise and provide guidance to store assistants and other support staff.
  4. Reporting and Documentation
    • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory.
    • Prepare detailed inventory and stock usage reports for management.
    • Ensure compliance with organizational standards for documentation and reporting.
  5. Financial Oversight
    • Handle cash for petty purchases and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required.
    • Ensure accountability and transparency in all financial activities

 

Required Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance/administration
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.
  • Prior experience in a non-profit or community-focused organization is a plus.
  • Familiarity with procurement and supply chain processes.
