Job Summary:
Bombay Nimco Bakers & Sweets is looking for a responsible and organized Store Keeper / Inventory Controller to manage the company’s inventory and store operations. The candidate will ensure accurate stock records, proper storage of bakery products, sweets, raw materials, packaging materials, and other store items.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and verify raw materials, bakery items, sweets, packaging materials, and other supplies.
  • Check quantities, quality, expiry dates, and condition of received goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock received, issued, transferred, and returned.
  • Properly organize and store items according to their type and storage requirements.
  • Monitor stock levels and inform management about low-stock items.
  • Follow FIFO/FEFO procedures, particularly for perishable food products.
  • Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Maintain records of damaged, expired, or wastage items.
  • Issue stock to production, kitchen, branches, or other departments against authorized requests.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, accounts, production, and branch teams regarding inventory requirements.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Ensure proper labeling and cleanliness of the store area.
  • Monitor the temperature and storage conditions of perishable items where required.
  • Minimize stock wastage, damage, and unnecessary inventory losses.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum Intermediate qualification; relevant experience will be preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in storekeeping, inventory control, or warehouse operations, preferably in a bakery, restaurant, food, or FMCG environment.
  • Knowledge of stock management, inventory control, and FIFO/FEFO.
  • Basic computer skills; experience with ERP/SAP or inventory software will be an advantage.
  • Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Honest, responsible, punctual, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Duty Hours: 11 hours per day

Weekly Offs: Either 1 full offs or 2 half days in a month (as per management schedule)

Probation Period:

  • The employment will be subject to a 2-month probation period starting from the date of joining.

  • Employees leaving before completion of 2 months will be eligible for 50% of the salary earned.
  • Employees wishing to discontinue after completion of the probation period must provide a 10-day prior notice.
