Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the purchasing process from requisition to delivery.
  • Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
  • Conduct regular physical verification of stock and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Ensure that all store transactions (receipts, issues, and returns) are properly recorded.
  • Coordinate with departments to forecast material requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
  • Handle logistics for goods receiving and dispatching.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store.
  • Prepare periodic reports on purchasing and inventory status for management review.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (2–4 years) in purchasing and store management.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and inventory management software.
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
