Manage the purchasing process from requisition to delivery.
Identify and evaluate reliable suppliers and vendors.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate terms to ensure cost-effectiveness.
Prepare purchase orders and ensure proper documentation.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
Conduct regular physical verification of stock and reconcile discrepancies.
Ensure that all store transactions (receipts, issues, and returns) are properly recorded.
Coordinate with departments to forecast material requirements.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
Handle logistics for goods receiving and dispatching.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization within the store.
Prepare periodic reports on purchasing and inventory status for management review.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
Proven experience (2–4 years) in purchasing and store management.
Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and inventory management software.
Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
