The Stock Managing Officer is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring efficient stock control, and coordinating the receiving, storage, and distribution of goods. This role ensures that stock levels are properly maintained to meet the demands of the business while minimizing waste and loss.
Role and Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage daily stock levels and inventory records.
Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
Organize and maintain the warehouse layout to optimize space and efficiency.
Conduct regular stock counts (daily, weekly, monthly) and reconcile discrepancies.
Prepare and submit inventory reports to management.
Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and documentation of stock items.
Work closely with procurement and logistics teams to forecast stock needs.
Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and policies.
Monitor and report stock issues such as damage, expiration, or obsolescence.
Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the stockroom/warehouse.
Operate inventory management Excel and tools
Skills and Qualification:
Intermediate degree related field (preferred).
Knowledge Excel
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Basic knowledge of safety and warehouse procedures.
