Job Summary

Job Description:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Science or Abacus–Mental Math Teacher who can teach concepts in a simple, interactive, and enjoyable way. The focus is on building concept clarity, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence through hands-on activities and structured practice sessions using a child-friendly approach that supports young learners from multicultural environments.
 

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver hands-on science lessons for different age groups
• Conduct experiments, activities, and group projects
• Teach structured Abacus & Mental Math techniques to improve speed, accuracy, and concentration.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the STEAM curriculum
• Create an interactive, supportive, motivating and inquiry-based learning environment
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents.
• Adapt teaching style to suit different learning abilities and cultural backgrounds.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Art, Education, Psychology, Science or related fields.
• Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and clear manner
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Passion for working with children and teenagers.
• Patient, energetic, and creative teaching style.
• Prior teaching experience preferred (training can be provided for the right candidate).
• Experience with project-based learning and curriculum development
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong organizational skills
