Job Summary

Implementation of KPI Framework and Strategy:

• Lead the implementation of the KPI framework across the region/country.
• Provide expert-level support on data-related matters and ensure alignment with organizational strategy.
• Stay updated with emerging trends, tools, and best practices in BI, analytics, and data engineering.

Business Intelligence, Systems Integration, and Analytics Tools:

• Design and develop BI dashboards to meet organizational and stakeholder needs.
• Develop and maintain scripts (Python, PHP, SQL) to connect, extract, and integrate data from multiple systems/databases.
• Implement and manage approved BI tools for data analytics and reporting.
• Recommend and apply automation processes for data collection, cleaning, and reporting.

Data Management, Analysis and Insights:

• Contribute for the implementation of data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, privacy, and security across the region/ country.
• Ensure that data management guidelines followed.
• Contribute for data collection (through approved tools) from internal and external stakeholders (i.e., surveys, local teams, national and international boards, etc.), validation, analysis and sharing, as needed.
• Provide reports of appropriate quality to management and governance, as needed.
• Contribute for academic performance reporting across region/ country and curricula (including student progress reports).
• Collaborate with departments and data owners to identify and analyse key data insights that can also improve teaching and learning across the network of schools in the region/ country.
• Contribute for the implementation of data analytics (dashboards) and operational reports to satisfy information needs.

Data Literacy and Capacity Building:

• Supervise and mentor team members, ensuring timely delivery of analytics outputs. 
• Develop and deliver training sessions on BI tools, data integration, and data literacy.
• Provide technical guidance on data-driven decision-making processes.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

• The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Information Management.
• Candidates must have 3–5 years of relevant professional experience, along with certifications in BI tools, Data Analytics, or Database Administration.
• The role requires strong technical expertise in SQL Server and MySQL databases, as well as solid programming skills in Python and PHP. Proficiency in Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau is essential, along with a comprehensive understanding of data management, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and system integration.
• The candidate should also demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities to effectively interpret data and support business decision-making.
