Job Summary

Job Role / Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Manager, Examination Development you will be responsible to develop error-free, balanced and grade-appropriate exam papers with regards to content, skill coverage and difficulty level for the subject of Biology. Additionally, you will be responsible to: 

• develop and review high quality items for the subject of Biology on a regular basis and as per recommendations
• mentor and guide other team members
• review and provide critical feedback on their exam papers
• review departmental reports and share suggestions for improvements
• actively participate in the development of syllabi, teaching materials, and reports for Biology subject and/or related/assigned subjects
• actively participate in the workshop design for Biology subject for teachers and students as part of AKU-EB’s workshop program for schools
• actively participate in the development of middle school projects in Biology subject
• publish research work as co-author.

Required Skills

You should have:

• preferably a Master of Science degree in Biology from a recognized University
• at least 3-5 years’ experience of teaching Biology at SSC and HSSC levels
• excellent understanding of Biology subject at the secondary and higher secondary level
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• understanding of the contribution of examination and syllabi in effective teaching
• the fluency in speaking and writing Urdu and English.
