Job Summary

Roles And Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a Solar Technician with strong electrical skills to carry out site surveys, solar system installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales services.
  • The technician will also be responsible for transporting project materials to sites, completing installations as per technical requirements, maintaining system quality and safety, and responding promptly to customer complaints and service requests.
  • The candidate should have hand-on experience in installation, testing, commissioning of troubleshooting solar PV systems, electrical wiring, inverters, batteries,  protection systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting. 

Required Skills

Skills And Qualifications:

  • Practical knowledge of solar PV system installation and maintenance.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical wiring and electrical works.
  • Experience with hybrid, off-grid and on-grid solar systems.
  • Installation and troubleshooting of inverters and batteries
  • Knowledge of AC/DC cabling, DBs, breakers, SPDs, isolators, and earthing
  • Ability to conduct site surveys and basic electrical assessments
  • Skills in testing and commissioning solar systems
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical faults and customer complaints
  • Proper handling, loading, transportation, and installation of solar materials and equipment
  • Ability to read and understand basic electrical/solar drawings and BOQs
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a technical team
  • Willingness to travel to remote project sites.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and timely completion of work
