Install, test, and commission solar panels, inverters, and related electrical systems.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar power systems and electrical wiring.
Diagnose and repair electrical faults and replace defective components.
Conduct inspections to ensure systems meet safety and performance standards.
Assist in designing and planning solar installations, including load calculations and wiring layouts.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and system performance data.
Follow electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with engineers and project managers for system upgrades or new installations.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients or team members as needed.
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
Proficiency in installing and maintaining photovoltaic (PV) systems
Strong understanding of electrical wiring and circuit diagrams
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and specialized solar equipment
Familiarity with inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and solar components
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for system faults
Ability to read technical drawings
Comfortable working at heights and in varying outdoor conditions
Basic knowledge of hybrid and off-grid systems (optional but beneficial)
Experience with testing and commissioning solar installations
Attention to detail and commitment to system quality and efficiency
Physical stamina for fieldwork and lifting equipment
Strong communication skills for reporting and teamwork
Time management and ability to work independently on-site
