About the Company:
Silver Jubilee Development Agency (SJDA) is a company limited by guarantee, incorporated and subsisting under the Companies Act 2017. It was established with the aim of promoting the socio-economic progress of the communities by developing and supporting programs and institutions.
Summary:
Reporting to the Valley Coordinator, the incumbent will be responsible for engaging with selected families in their journey towards socio-economic upliftment within the scope of the poverty alleviation program. The incumbent is expected to work collaboratively with families and the program team in order to develop their Family Development Plans and make stringent efforts to materialize those plans in accordance with the family aspiration and program objectives.
Functional Responsibilities:
Support management in identifying households and program beneficiaries as per the selection criteria.
Mobilize the families and prepare their Family Development Plans (FDPs) in collaboration with the program team.
Liaise and establish strong working relationships with partner organizations and program stakeholders including community intuitions, and other GOs/NGOs in the valley.
Undertake and/or assist poverty-related research activities, data collection, compilation, and reporting.
Develop and maintain the necessary documentation and record of all program activities in the valley.
Play an active role in conflict resolution with regard to program interventions
Undertake regular visits to the program beneficiaries and provide necessary feedback to stakeholders.
Perform any other task as assigned by the Valley Coordinator.
Qualification
Professional Experience
Have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the social or development sector in a similar capacity.
Professional/voluntary experience in a community-based institution(s) would be an advantage.
Possess proven abilities to manage multiple tasks under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and ensure teamwork.
Skills and Attitudes
Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
Strong interpersonal skills together with cultural, gender, and political sensitivities.
Fair competence and comfort level with the use of computers, MS Office, other software, and basic internet
Ability to work effectively with volunteer teams with proven ability to analyze the required information.
Language Proficiency
Strong communication skills in English and Urdu (both oral and written).
Fluency in English, Urdu, and relevant local language.
Strong interpersonal skills together with cultural, gender, and political sensitivities.
Work Timings & Travel
Willingness to work beyond normal working hours and extended travels within the region.
