Job Summary

Roles And Responsibilities:

  • Site Execution & Supervision: Supervise day-to-day construction activities as per approved drawings and specifications, ensure proper setting out, levels, and alignment of works, monitor contractor performance and ensure adherence to work schedules, and coordinate with subcontractors and site teams for smooth execution.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all works comply with QA/QC standards and project specifications, conduct regular inspections and report any non-conformances, verify materials delivered to site meet required standards, and assist in inspections with consultants and client representatives.
  •  Planning & Progress Monitoring: Track daily and weekly progress against the project schedule, assist in updating work plans and reporting delays or risks, maintain daily site reports, progress logs, and activity records, and support implementation of recovery plans where required.
  • Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with the Resident Engineer, Project Manager, and design team, facilitate communication between contractors, suppliers, and consultants, assist in resolving site issues and technical challenges, and support stakeholder coordination where required.
  • Resources & Material Management: Monitor material usage and prevent wastage, ensure proper storage and handling of materials at site, coordinate timely availability of labor, equipment, and materials.
  •  Documentation & Reporting: Maintain site records including drawings, RFIs, and inspection reports, assist in preparation of progress reports and quantity tracking, support measurement and verification for contractor billing (IPC inputs).
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Ensure strict compliance with site safety protocols and monitor safe working practices and report unsafe conditions.

Required Skills
  • The ideal candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with valid Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) registration required.
  • The candidate should have 4-6 years of relevant site experience, preferably in institutional or building projects, with experience working under the supervision of a Resident Engineer or Project Manager preferred.
  • Proven experience in interpreting construction drawings, construction methods and sequencing, and basic QA/QC procedures is essential. The role requires proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and MS Project, along with strong communication, coordination, teamwork, accountability, and technical documentation skills.
