Senior Quality Checker (Apparel) @ Titans Corporation

Job Summary

You will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality for our products. You will utilize your extensive experience in apparel quality control to inspect, evaluate, and uphold the quality of our garments, contributing to our commitment to excellence.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of T-Shirts, Sportswear, and Puffer Jackets at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize specialized quality checking tools and software to identify defects, non-conformities, and areas for improvement specific to apparel manufacturing.
• Collaborate closely with production managers, designers, and suppliers to address quality issues and implement corrective actions in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive quality control procedures and protocols tailored to the nuances of T-Shirt, Sportswear, and Puffer Jacket manufacturing.
• Train and mentor junior quality checkers on best practices and industry-specific quality standards to ensure consistency and adherence to quality requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of quality inspection results and documentation of any deviations or non-compliance, providing detailed reports as needed.
• Stay abreast of evolving trends, technologies, and regulations in apparel manufacturing and quality assurance, integrating them into our processes to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in cross-functional teams to conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving activities, contributing valuable insights to enhance product quality and efficiency.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality checking, specifically in T-Shirt, Sportswear, and Puffer Jacket manufacturing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in using quality checking tools and software specific to apparel manufacturing.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.
• Familiarity with industry standards and quality assurance processes in apparel manufacturing.
• Intermediate or equivalent education required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
