Job Summary

You will be responsible for:

  • Developing psychological assessments
  • Conducting cognitive behavior planning assessment
  • Conducting emotional and behavior problem assessment
  • Conducting development therapy
  • Conducting therapy for learning problem
  • Teaching or parents and junior trainers
  • Developing protocol for programs
  • Developing international educational plans for patients’ attendants and helping in innovation in the program
  • Leading and supporting teaching and training efforts to enhance research capacity in early child development and disability in the department.

Required Skills

You should have:

  • A Masters in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience working in an academic setting
  • At least three to four years of clinical experience in development of assessments, intervention planning, counselling families and evaluation of children with developmental risks
  • Experience in play therapy and play therapy is an added advantage
  • Proficiency in the use of computer applications, particularly MS Office and knowledge of clinical psychology, theory, techniques, and equipment's evaluation of patients, monitor and record patient progress
  • Knowledge of counselling and health care techniques
  • Ability to advice and orient patient and other health care personnel.
