Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Education Counselor with a strong background in student counseling for Study in Australia and other countries. Student counseling and demonstrate a deep understanding of Australian education providers and their admission requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Counseling Expertise:
- Provide expert guidance and counseling to prospective students interested in pursuing education in Australia.
- Asses and understand students' academic goals, preferences, and requirements to recommend suitable courses and institutions.
Counseling Skills and Rapport Building:
- Exhibit exceptional counseling skills, including active listening, empathy, and problem-solving.
- Build strong rapport with clients to gain their trust and confidence throughout the counseling process.
Lead Generation and Retention:
Mainitain Updated Knowledge:
- Stay current with the latest developments in the Australian education sector, including changes in admission requirements, visas, and study options.
Expertise in Student Application Process:
GTE (Genuine Temporary Entrant) Assistance:
- Help students understand and meet GTE requirements for student visas.
- Provide support in crafting clear and compelling GTE statements.
Effective Email Communication:
- Communicate with students and relevant authorities via email professionally and efficiently.
- Maintain organized email correspondence records.
Required Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in student counseling, particularly for Australian education.
- Strong knowledge of Australian education providers, courses, and admission procedures.
- Excellent counseling and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Proficient in lead generation and retention.
- Expertise in student application processes.
- Well-versed in email communication.
- Knowledge of GTE requirements and documentation.
