AKES, Pakistan (Central) invites applications from eligible and interested candidates to fill the following position:
Senior AutoCAD Operator & 3D Visualization Specialist - (Islamabad Office):
Roles And Responsibilities:
- Prepare architectural drawings including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules, interior layouts, reflected ceiling plans, and finishing plans.
- Develop design development, tender, construction, shop, and as-built drawings.
- Prepare accurate 3D models, realistic renderings, and walkthrough animations.
- Ensure drawings comply with project requirements, applicable codes, standards, and organizational CAD standards.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, templates, and document control.
- Coordinate architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines to produce clash-free documentation.
- Possess a good understanding of structural and MEP systems and drawings.
- Prepare or revise structural and MEP drawings whenever assigned by the Project Manager or respective engineers.
- Identify coordination issues and incorporate approved design revisions.
- Providing drafting support to architects, engineers, project managers, and site teams.
- Attend coordination meetings and support design reviews.
- Maintain CAD/BIM libraries and mentor junior CAD staff when required.
- Any other task as and when assigned by the supervisor for efficient and effective functioning of the department.
Required Skills
Skills And Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate must have a Diploma in Associate Engineering, Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
- 7–10 years of relevant professional experience with a strong focus on architectural drafting and visualization along with MEP. Auto CAD Certification, 3D visualization Certification.
- The individual should have Expertise in AutoCAD, Strong command of Revit Architecture, Proficient in SketchUp, Advanced knowledge of Lumion, Enscape, V-Ray and/or 3ds Max, Good understanding of structural and MEP drafting and coordination, Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office.
