Job Summary

The individual will be responsible for carrying out a range of administrative tasks including procurement, supervising housekeeping, repair and maintenance, ensuring safety and security, and liaising with government agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support for inventory, procurement, logistics, and maintenance of buildings and equipment.
  • Oversee grounds upkeep, cleanliness, security, utility services, and administrative staff supervision.
  • Manage housekeeping, routine maintenance, and contractor oversight.
  • Ensure safety and security of the school building, equipment, and staff.
  • Handle procurement and printing of stationery, furniture, and equipment.
  • Oversee and maintain records of all equipment, ensuring regular servicing and repairs.
  • Support meetings, functions, and school activities with logistic arrangements.
  • Conduct annual physical verification of stock and recommend disposals or replacements.
  • Assist in preparing and monitoring expense budgets.
  • Manage records for purchases, stock, fixed assets, and staff attendance.
  • Process utility payments, manage travel arrangements, and reconcile petty cash transactions.
  • Submit detailed reports to the Finance department biannually.

Required Skills

Skills:

  • The ideal candidate for this role should hold at least an Intermediate or bachelor’s degree and demonstrate
  • At least minimum of 1 year of relevant experience within a reputable institution.
  • Key skills include strong organizational and time management skills, proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software, and attention to detail and accuracy.
