Job Summary

A Security Guard is responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment. The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, preventing unauthorized activities, and responding to security incidents.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas regularly to ensure safety and security.
• Control entry and exit of visitors, employees, and vehicles.
• Check identification and maintain visitor records when required.
• Prevent theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unauthorized activities.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
• Report suspicious activities, accidents, and security breaches to management.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems, if applicable.
• Ensure gates, doors, and windows are properly secured.
• Assist staff and visitors with security-related concerns.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and security protocols.

Required Skills

Skills And Qualification

• Minimum Middle, Matric, or equivalent education preferred.
• Previous experience as a Security Guard is an advantage.
• Good physical fitness and alertness.
• Strong observation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies.
• Basic communication and reporting skills.
• Honest, responsible, and disciplined personality.
• Willingness to work day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as required.
