Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan, is looking for a competent Security Guard based at Project Office in, Gilgit.
Role And Responsibilities:
- Maintain security of project premises during duty hours.
- Monitor entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vehicles.
- Ensure proper verification of visitors and maintain visitor logs.
- Conduct regular patrols of office premises to prevent unauthorized access.
- Safeguard project equipment, supplies, and documents.
- Report any suspicious activity, security incidents, or safety concerns immediately to the Admin Officer or Project Manager.
- Support staff during office hours, field movements, and official events as required.
- Ensure compliance with organizational safety and security guidelines.
Required Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum middle or matric level education (preferred).
- At least 2–3 years of relevant experience as a security guard, preferably with NGOs or development projects.
- Basic understanding of security procedures and emergency response.
- Physically fit, alert, and able to work in shifts if required.
- Honest, disciplined, punctual, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Familiarity with local context of GB and Chitral will be an advantage.
- Results-driven, ethical and adaptable professional with a strong service and stakeholder focus.
- Strong integrity with the sensitivity to manage confidential information.
- Demonstrates superior organizational skills and the agility to multitask and assume changing strategic responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Possesses strong integrity, intellectual humility and demonstrable expertise in navigating ambiguity and constant change.
- It shows resilience, flexibility and perseverance, especially during challenging periods.
