Job Summary


  • We are seeking a reliable and alert Security Guard to join our team. The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, property, and individuals by patrolling the area, monitoring surveillance equipment, and enforcing policies and procedures. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all employees, visitors, and assets.
  • Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Patrol Premises: Regularly walk or drive around assigned areas to ensure no suspicious activity is taking place. Report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Monitor Surveillance Equipment: Keep an eye on CCTV cameras and other security systems to detect any potential threats or intrusions.
  • Enforce Security Protocols: Implement and enforce building rules, security policies, and safety procedures to protect people and property.
  • Respond to Emergencies: Act swiftly and appropriately to emergencies, alarms, and incidents, including fire alarms, accidents, or security breaches.
  • Access Control: Monitor entrances and exits, check credentials, and ensure only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
  • Document Security Incidents: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences in the security log.
  • Assist Visitors: Provide assistance and directions to visitors while maintaining security protocols.
  • Work with Law Enforcement: In case of criminal activity or major incidents, collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency responders.

Required Skills
  • Skills & Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred but not always required. On-the-job training may be provided.
  • Ability to spot unusual activities or potential security threats.
  • Ability to assess situations quickly and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Familiarity with surveillance equipment, alarm systems, and other security technologies is often required.
  • A strong sense of ethics and trustworthiness, as security guards are often entrusted with protecting valuable assets.
  • Ability to focus for long periods and stay alert to possible threats.
  • Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on the employer’s needs.
  • Necessary Licensing and Certifications required
