Job Summary
We are hiring a responsible teacher for delivering engaging and practical science lessons, helping students understand scientific concepts, and promoting critical thinking through experiments and classroom activities. The teacher prepares lesson plans, assesses student progress, maintains a positive learning environment, and encourages curiosity and innovation while following the prescribed curriculum.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver science lessons according to the curriculum.
- Teach subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science, depending on the grade level.
- Explain scientific concepts using demonstrations, experiments, and practical activities.
- Create lesson plans that meet learning objectives and accommodate different learning styles.
- Assess students' progress through quizzes, tests, assignments, projects, and practical exams.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance.
- Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry.
- Ensure laboratory safety by enforcing safety rules and supervising experiments.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials.
- Use technology and multimedia tools to enhance classroom learning.
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Provide guidance and support to students who need additional help.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events.
