The Science Trainer will deliver high-quality remedial and accelerated Science instruction to students in Grades 5 - 10 across AKES schools through live online sessions conducted from the Islamabad office. The role targets students with identified gaps in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and requires the use of inquiry-based and visual learning strategies to strengthen conceptual understanding. The trainer will coordinate with in-class support staff at school, develop structured lesson plans aligned with regional curriculum requirements, and track student progress through regular diagnostic and summative assessments. Demonstrating measurable improvement in student learning outcomes is the core expectation of this role.
The trainer will also contribute to curriculum development and content curation tailored to digital and blended delivery, including the creation of simulations, multimedia resources, and interactive exercises suited to the virtual classroom. Participation in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and support to teacher training sessions are part of the broader scope. The trainer is expected to work with the programme team to use learner data to inform and adjust instruction on an ongoing basis.
