Job Summary

A Science Teacher is responsible for teaching students scientific concepts, encouraging curiosity, and developing practical knowledge through lessons, experiments, and classroom activities. The teacher helps students understand subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and General Science according to the school curriculum.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to students
  • Teach subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
  • Prepare lesson plans according to curriculum standards
  • Conduct experiments and practical demonstrations safely
  • Assess student progress through tests, assignments, and classwork
  • Maintain discipline and a positive classroom environment
  • Encourage critical thinking, observation, and problem-solving skills
  • Use teaching aids, lab equipment, and technology effectively
  • Prepare students for exams and academic success
  • Participate in staff meetings, school events, and parent meetings

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science or relevant subject
  • Teaching qualification or certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Good classroom management abilities
  • Ability to prepare lesson plans and assessments
  • Experience in conducting practical experiments safely
  • Ability to motivate and guide students academically
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Computer knowledge and ability to use teaching technology
  • Professional, punctual, and responsible attitude
