Job Summary:
An Outdoor Door-to-Door Sales Officer is responsible for actively engaging with potential customers at their residences (Construction Sites) to promote and sell products offered by the company. This role involves traveling within an assigned territory, engaging in direct face-to-face interactions, and utilizing persuasive communication skills to achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Prospect Identification:
- Identify potential customers within the assigned territory through various methods, such as lead lists, referrals, and market research.
Product Knowledge:
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of the company's products or services, including features, benefits, pricing, and competitive advantages.
Sales Pitch:
- Deliver persuasive sales pitches tailored to the needs and preferences of each customer, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Objection Handling:
- Address customer objections or concerns effectively, providing accurate information and addressing any misconceptions.
Sales Targets:
- Meet or exceed assigned sales quotas and targets within the defined timeframes.
Documentation:
- Accurately record customer interactions, sales activities, and relevant information in the company's CRM system.
Follow-Up:
- Follow up with potential customers who express interest but do not make an immediate purchase, nurturing leads and maintaining regular communication.
Territory Management:
- Organize and plan daily routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and coverage within the assigned territory.
Reporting:
- Provide regular sales reports, updates, and insights to the Sales Manager or Team Lead.
Market Feedback:
- Gather and relay customer feedback, market trends, and competitive insights to contribute to product and sales strategy.
Compliance:
- Adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and industry regulations while conducting sales activities.
Required Skills
Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in door-to-door sales, direct sales, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong persuasive and presentation abilities.
- Resilience and the ability to handle rejection.
