Job Summary

You will be responsible to:

  • Ensure clear images for diagnostic purposes and make adjustments to the sonographic equipment when necessary
  • Monitor and care for patients to ensure their safety and comfort during the procedures
  • Select and examine images, look for differences between healthy and pathological areas, and determine if the scope of the exam should be extended, based on preliminary findings
  • Complete the appropriate documentation and maintaining patients' histories and medical records
  • Assist the healthcare teams during procedures
  • Maintain and clean the sonographic equipment
  • Prepare ultrasound equipment and exam room ensuring proper sterilization and safety procedures are followed
  • Review images to ensure a clear image of the area requested

Required Skills

You should have:

  • A diploma in sonography or relevant degree
  • At least one  to two years of experience in community research
  • Good interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
  • Proficiency in the use of computer applications, particularly MS Office
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively  ability to work effectively in teams
  • Resilience to cope-up with work pressure
  • Good report writing skills and willingness to work in the community settings and travel to field sites.
