Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-oriented  Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for guests, you will be responsible for ensuring a warm welcome, smooth check-in/check-out process, and providing exceptional customer service. Your role will be key in creating a positive guest experience and handling various front desk operations efficiently.

Role and  Responsibilities:

Guest Services:

  • Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Address guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally.

Reservations & Front Desk Operations:

  • Maintain accurate guest records and ensure all data is up to date.

Administrative Duties:

  • Maintain the reception area in a tidy and organized manner.
  • Keep daily reports and logs as required by management.
  • Follow hotel policies, security procedures, and health & safety regulations.

 

Required Skills

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); a degree in hospitality or related field (preferred).
  • Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk agent, or in customer service (preferred).
  • Experience with hotel management software ,

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus).
  • Customer Service-Oriented: Friendly, approachable, and able to handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
  • Multitasking & Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Quick thinking and the ability to resolve guest issues promptly.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in handling reservations, payments, and guest requests.
  • Computer Proficiency: Familiarity with hotel booking systems, email handling, and basic office software.
