Job Summary

Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for competent Radiology Supervisor for Aga Khan Hospital, Gilgit.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of radiologic technologists and other staff within the radiology department.
- Ensure all radiology services are delivered in accordance with clinical standards and protocols.
- Monitor and maintain the performance of imaging equipment and coordinate with biomedical/technical staff for preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Schedule patient imaging procedures to optimize efficiency and reduce wait times.
- Monitor compliance with radiation safety and infection control protocols.
- Maintain records and documentation as per institutional and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in staff hiring, training, orientation, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and stock of radiology consumables.
- Liaise with physicians and other departments to coordinate patient care and imaging services.
- Assist in developing and updating department policies and standard operating procedures.
- Stay current with advances in imaging technology and regulatory requirements.
- Promote continuous quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Required Skills
Education, Experience & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in Radiology Technology or equivalent or Diploma in Radiology Technology
- Minimum 4 years of experience in relevant field.
- Strong knowledge of imaging modalities (X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound).
- Understanding of radiation safety regulations and healthcare standards.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational ability.
- Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Commitment to patient care and service quality.
