Job Summary

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) is responsible for managing communication between the school and its stakeholders, including parents, students, staff, and the wider community. The role involves promoting the school's image, handling inquiries, coordinating events, supporting administrative operations, and ensuring effective communication and positive relationships with all stakeholders.

Roles And Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for parents, visitors, and external stakeholders.
  • Manage school communications, announcements, and public relations activities.
  • Respond professionally to parent inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
  • Support student admissions, school events, and promotional activities.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure smooth administrative operations.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and communication logs.
  • Assist in organizing school functions, meetings, orientations, and community engagement activities.
  • Promote a positive image and reputation of the school.
  • Support administrative tasks and provide coordination assistance to school leadership.
  • Ensure professional handling of correspondence, calls, and official communications.
  • Lead and coordinate teams during events and special projects when required.

Qualifications And Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communication, Education, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of administrative or public relations experience, preferably in an educational environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong command of English (written and verbal).
  • Strong classroom management and student interaction skills.
  • Excellent coordination, organization, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with parents, students, staff, and stakeholders.
  • Strong team leadership and coordination abilities (for leadership responsibilities).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative tools.
  • Professional attitude with strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
