Job Summary

We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced Finance Project Manager to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves overseeing and managing financial projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget constraints adherence, and successful outcomes.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans for financial initiatives, detailing tasks, timelines, resources, and milestones.
  • Budget Management: Create and oversee project budgets, tracking expenses, forecasting costs, and ensuring projects stay within budgetary limits.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses to assess project feasibility, risks, and potential returns on investment.
  • Risk Management: Identify, evaluate, and mitigate financial risks associated with projects, developing strategies to minimize negative impacts.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for all financial project-related communication, providing regular updates to stakeholders on progress, challenges, and milestones.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with external vendors and partners for project execution, ensuring adherence to contracts, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data, reports, and project outcomes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all financial projects comply with relevant regulations, policies, and standards, maintaining legal and ethical standards throughout project execution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements within the finance project management framework, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.

 

Required Skills

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • 5+ years of proven experience in project management within the finance sector, focusing on financial analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Smart sheet).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Leadership qualities with a track record of successfully managing project teams and delivering results.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
