Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive junior to mid-level Project Manager to oversee end-to-end delivery of eBook projects within a tech-driven environment. The ideal candidate will manage timelines, coordinate with authors and cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality outputs are delivered on schedule. This role plays a critical part in optimizing workflows, maintaining quality standards, and providing consistent support throughout the project lifecycle.

Role and  Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines for eBook production
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans and schedules
  • Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet deadlines

Author & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for authors
  • Guide authors through writing, editing, formatting, and publishing stages
  • Coordinate with editors, designers, developers, and QA teams

Workflow & Process Management

  • Streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks
  • Implement and maintain project management tools and systems
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures

Quality Assurance

  • Oversee content quality, formatting consistency, and technical accuracy
  • Ensure final deliverables meet publishing and platform standards

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify risks, delays, and resource constraints early
  • Develop mitigation plans and escalate issues when necessary

Reporting & Communication

  • Provide regular status updates to stakeholders
  • Track KPIs such as timelines, quality metrics, and author satisfaction

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Communications, or related field
  • 1 to 2 years of relevant project management experience
  • Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of digital publishing workflows (eBooks, PDFs, EPUB, etc.)
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello)
  • Knowledge of formatting standards (EPUB, MOBI, Kindle, etc.)

  • Location: Federal B Area, Block 4, Karachi
  • Employment type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Working days & timings: 8pm to 5am (PKT), Monday to Friday, with alternate Saturdays
