Job Summary

Project Manager reporting directly to the Executive Officer and Department Heads, s/he will be required to provide support as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the project. S/he will be responsible for overseeing the management of information within the organization and serve as a liaison to the Management team in organizing and coordinating executive, outreach efforts. The Project Manager may have access to confidential information and is responsible for maintaining this information as confidential.

Functional Responsibilities:

Strategize and Implement Interventions:

  • Work in close coordination with the Boards to implement strategies, plans, and programs.

  • Lead, supervise, and implement different activities related to skill development, the English language, data collection drives, and others

  • Work closely with EPB and EB Teams in order to implement interventions at regional and local levels

  • Build relationships with employers, institutes, organizations, and affluent members of society who could assist in implementing activities

Data Management & Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Oversee the efficient and systematic collection, storage, and retrieval of program-related data.

  • Implement robust data management systems to ensure accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.

  • Regularly assess and analyze program activities to measure effectiveness and impact.

  • Generate accurate and timely reports on programmatic interventions, including performance metrics and key indicators.

  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making.

Budgeting, Planning and Reporting:

  • Work in close coordination to develop & track the annual financial budget for Programmes, incorporating specific budgets for various Programmes requested by the boards.

  • Raise fund requests for program implementation, ensuring the prompt disbursement of funds.

  • Monitor activities and budget implementation to ensure alignment with financial plans.

  • Generate and respond to monthly budget variance reports, providing insights and recommendations for effective financial management.

  • Ensure the efficient utilization of budget allocations in line with program objectives.

Resource Allocation

  • Carefully assess resource requirements and ensure to allocation of resources in an appropriate manner as per the requirement

  • The resource allocation would include financial, technical, and human resources for the implementation of an activity.

General Responsibility:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of several interrelated programmatic activities.

  • Communicate and coordinate directly on behalf of the company with the Senior Management/leadership of various institutions.

  • Complete the daily tasks assigned by the Office.

  • Assist Boards and the Executive Officer in coordinating the initiatives.

  • Compile and prepare reports for the Board and the Executive Officer.

  • Provide support in communication between National, Regional Boards, and internal departments.

  • Assist in the planning and preparation of meetings, conferences, webinars, and audio/video conference calls.

  • Record and maintain the minutes of the meeting and undertake necessary follow-up on action items emanating from meeting minutes.

  • Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.).

  • Maintain and ensure effective management of confidential and official records.

  • Perform any other duties/tasks as assigned by EPB, EB and EO Office.

Required Skills

Professional Experience

  • Candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience working with Senior Executives.

  • Professional/voluntary experience would be an advantage.

  • S/he must have strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and teamwork.

  • S/he must have a proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • S/he must have the ability to multitask and work independently on the project, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure.

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, supportive, and collaborative working relationships with internal team members, leaders, and volunteers.

Skills and Attitudes

  • Have strong interpersonal skills along with excellent communication skills both in English and Urdu.

  • Strong motivational skills.

  • Experience in writing actionable reports that build on input from multiple stakeholders and developing reports and actionable dashboards.

  • Comfort with public speaking in front of diverse groups.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Academic Credentials

  • Candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree or above

Language Proficiency

  • Good command of English and Urdu language with an understanding of written and spoken language.

Travel and Schedule

  • Requires a flexible schedule in order to accommodate a non-traditional work week, including  evenings and weekends

  • Willingness to work beyond normal working hours.

  • Need-based travel within Pakistan.
