Job Summary

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Track project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
  • Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings, status updates, and stakeholder reports.
  • Drive project closure and post-project evaluation.

Required Skills

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), Scrum Master or Agile certifications (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP) are a plus, especially for tech-related roles.
  • 3–7 years of project management experience, preferably in a [specific industry, e.g., IT/software development, construction, marketing, etc.].
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Background in budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as:
  • Jira, Trello, Asana, Microsoft Project, Monday.com, Smartsheet, etc.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools like Slack, Microsoft Teams, and Google Workspace.
  • Basic understanding of relevant industry software/tools (e.g., software development tools for IT PMs, AutoCAD for construction, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under pressure.
