Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and dynamic Project Coordinator for Gilgit Baltistan and Chitral Region under Elderly Care Project.
Key Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the overall implementation of all the elderly care project activities in Gilgit Baltistan & Chitral
Supervise the field team and deal with their day to day project related matters
Ensure achievement of project objectives and quality delivery with a strong focus on timely and quality results, teamwork, participation, empowerment, accountability, and donor satisfaction
Act as technical support for the department as required to ensure performance according to the project's desired objectives and outputs
Ensure timely progress towards planned outputs and results; keep implementing partner and other staff appraised of progress and issues; make recommendations to solve problems and take the lead in implementing agreed-upon actions
Prepare presentations and participate in project review meetings to track progress and move forward as per agreed plans
Conduct compliance monitoring visits to project site
Strong academic writing skills to prepare written analysis, reports, activity descriptions, success stories, and other documents as required
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure effective support to field-level activities, and to provide accurate information to the field regarding regulations to foster project implementation
Data compilation and analysis (quantitative and qualitative) as per project requirements
Ensure synergy and linkages between health activities and other programs
Ensure adherence and compliance with donor policies and procedures
Comfortable in traveling to field sites across Pakistan and for partners and donors’ meetings, if required
Coordinates communication between key stakeholders, partners, and donors
Demonstrate effective communication skills to avoid mishaps, delays, and lapses in project deliverables
Provides updates to relevant members of the projects including donors and partners
Required Education, Experience & Competencies:
Bachelor’s in health-related subject, masters would be preferred
At least 3 years of experience & experience of working in community-based projects will be preferred
Excellent computer skills
Excellent verbal communication
Knowledge of basic level data analysis
Must be a team player and has experience in supporting team(s)
Multi-tasking and ability to manage competing priorities
Ability to acquire and maintain clear and concise records
Ability to meet deadlines
Working in a challenging atmosphere
Critical analytical skill
