Job Summary

Objective

The document defines areas of responsibilities and key objectives that are expected to be undertaken by the employee in his/her placement with National Conciliation and Arbitration Board for Pakistan (referred as NCAB)

Purpose

To narrate routine and periodic tasks that the Program Officer is expected to oblige to facilitate in fulfilling the constitutional mandate of the Institution. In defining the role, the aspect of credibility of data and reports to facilitate in appropriate decision-making would always remain critical in justifying the positioning expectations.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Actively follow-up on timely submission of monthly cases relevant reports comprising Matrimonial, Commercial, Testate and Intestate, Succession, and other Civil Liability matters from concerned offices viz. Regional Conciliation and Arbitration Boards (RCAB)
  • Thoroughly review and verify the presented data covering all three categories from NCAB and 8 RCAB Offices of Southern, Central, Hunza, Gilgit, Gupis-Yasin, Ishkoman-Punial, Lower Chitral and Upper Chitral.
  • Where required, rectify discrepancies in category-wise reports and the consolidated sheet. Initiate process of correspondence in getting the data streamlined for sustaining the aspect of completion and credibility.
  • After verification and rectifications are made, update the sheet of newly registered cases, again ensuring the aspects of completeness and accuracy of the information for decision-making of relevant stakeholders. Active collaboration with Program Manager would be critical in fulfilling the aspects of Monitoring & Evaluation, Assessments and ascertaining Root Causes
  • Enter all closed cases into the Duration Sheet to monitor the time taken for disposal of each case.
  • Record all closed cases in the Success and Unsuccess Ratio Template to facilitate yearly performance analysis.
  • Maintain proper monthly filing of region-wise consolidated sheets, both in soft and hard versions wherever applicable. Provide update to Board Members on progress in communications with relevant regional and international CAB Offices.
  • Coordinate with respective regional MIS Officers for analysis of data and their prompt submission to National Office for reviews and compilation.

 

Required Skills

Skills and Qualification:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree
  • At least 2 years of experience

ICAB software management and Coordination

  • Maintain International Conciliation and Arbitration Board’s (ICAB) CaseTrace Program records across multiple regions including Gilgit, Hunza, Ishkoman-Punial, Gupis-Yasin, Lower Chitral, Upper Chitral, Central and Southern Regions.
  • Handle matrimonial, commercial, and family cases with accurate data entry, documentation, and monthly reporting.
  • Ensure timely updates and proper tracking of all case-related matters.

Note – CaseTrace program must remain the institutional key source of data reporting and analysis. Other Parallel and simultaneous statistics being maintained on Excel need to be simultaneously maintained for swift reviews and concurrent amalgamation of records on CaseTrace program
