Role And Responsibilities

The Programme Officer will undertake the following:

  • Recruit, train, and supervise a team of freelance enumerators to assign surveys.
  • Review conducted surveys in accordance with established methodologies and guidelines. Plan and organize field activities, including scheduling and organization.
  • Facilitate communication between Surveyors, field teams, and Program head.
  • Conduct spot checks, back-checks, and field monitoring visits and address data inconsistencies and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Compile, clean, and analyze survey data using appropriate tools.
  • Field-based with travel to project locations as required.
  • Any other task as and when assigned by the supervisor for efficient and effective functioning of the department.

Required Skills

Skills And Qualification

  • Minimum graduate degree in social sciences, economics, statistics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience in conducting surveys and managing field operations, preferably in a development or research setting.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently and work in remote locations.
