Program Officer /Field Officer, Gupis Region

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct surveys according to established methodologies and guidelines.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of freelance enumerators.
  • Assign survey tasks, monitor performance, and provide ongoing support to enumerators.
  • Coordinate survey activities with project management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for enumerators.
  • Compile and analyze survey data to generate reports and insights.
  • Prepare progress reports, activity logs, and other documentation as required.

 

Required Skills

Skills:

  • The ideal candidate should have at least a Graduate degree in a relevant field such as social sciences, economics, statistics, or a related discipline with proven experience in conducting surveys and managing field operations, preferably in a development or research context.
  • The candidate should also possess strong organizational and time management skills, effective multitasking abilities, and proficiency in MS Office; excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with a willingness to travel and work remotely.
