We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Product Developer with a background in Fashion Design and Pattern Making, along with 2 years of industry experience. This role is Crucial in the product development process, from concept to production. Typically work with a team of suppliers and designers to create prototypes, test products and ensure that the final product meets all requirements suiting and coat products. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise in garment construction, materials, and manufacturing techniques to contribute to our fashion-forward and quality-focused product line.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with our design team to conceptualize and translate design concepts into well-constructed suiting and coat products.
• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of pattern making to create accurate and precise technical specifications for production.
• Apply your expertise in fabric selection and evaluation to ensure the highest quality materials are used in our products.
• Work directly with suppliers, manufacturers, and vendors to oversee the execution of the product development life cycle.
• Perform fittings and engage with pattern makers to achieve impeccable fit and design authenticity.
• Manage the sample development process, including evaluating prototypes, fit samples, and pre-production samples.
• Work alongside the production team to address any technical challenges that may arise during manufacturing, ensuring product quality is maintained.
• Maintain meticulous records of design specifications, sample approvals, and other crucial documentation.
• Keep pace with industry trends, advancements, and emerging techniques within the garment production field.

 

Required Skills

Qualifications:

• Degree in Fashion Design or Pattern Master.
• 2+ Years Experience in product development for suits and coats.

Skills: 

• Strong knowledge of fabrics, construction, and patterns.
• Strong understanding of fabrics and construction.
• Proficiency in design software and communication.
• Detail-oriented with project management skills.
