Job Summary
Arrak Consulting is looking for a Procurement Officer who has hands-on experience sourcing and purchasing products through Alibaba, Amazon, eBay, and other international marketplaces. Role and Responsibilities
- Source products from Alibaba, Amazon, eBay, and other global suppliers
- Identify reliable manufacturers and negotiate the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms
- Compare product prices across multiple websites to maximize cost savings
- Prepare and manage purchase orders, invoices, and procurement records
- Coordinate with international vendors across different time zones
- Track shipments and follow up on deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment
- Resolve supplier issues related to pricing, quality, and delivery
- Work closely with Finance, Operations, and Logistics teams
Required Skills
Skills and Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1–3 years of procurement or international sourcing experience
- Proven experience purchasing products through Alibaba, Amazon, eBay, and similar B2B/B2C marketplaces
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Experience communicating directly with international manufacturers and suppliers
- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and procurement documentation
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Willingness to travel internationally when required
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with international shipping, freight forwarding, and customs procedures
- Knowledge of jewellery tools, displays, packaging, or retail supplies is a plus
- Familiarity with sourcing platforms such as Made-in-China, 1688, or Global Sources is an advantage
