Procurement Officer @ ARRAK CONSULTING

Job Summary

Arrak Consulting is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination during our night operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth procurement processes, cost efficiency, and timely availability of goods and services, while coordinating with international vendors and teams.

Role and  Responsibilities

• Source and procure materials, goods, and services from local and international suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve best value
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation
• Coordinate with international vendors across different time zones
• Monitor inventory levels and plan timely replenishment
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and budget guidelines
• Daily check product prices across different websites to identify cost-saving opportunities
• Resolve supplier issues related to quality, pricing, or delivery delays
• Collaborate with internal teams including finance, operations, and logistics

Required Skills

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar purchasing role
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• Strong knowledge of jewelry tools / display elements
• Hands-on experience and knowledge in sourcing and purchasing products via Alibaba, Ebay etc.
•  Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office Google sheet (especially Excel) and procurement tools
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Willingness to travel internationally when required

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling international suppliers and imports
• Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and customs procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
