Position Summary

Froebel’s International School, DHA Phase 8, Karachi, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Procurement & Administration to oversee procurement, supply chain, and administrative operations of the campus. The role requires a proactive professional with strong market knowledge, vendor management expertise, and experience in construction materials, facility management, and institutional administration. The incumbent will serve as the focal person for all non-academic operations, ensuring efficient coordination with Head Office, effective resource utilization, and smooth day-to-day campus functioning.


Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Supply Chain Management

  • Manage end-to-end procurement process including sourcing, vendor selection, negotiations, and purchase orders
  • Maintain strong market intelligence for competitive pricing and quality sourcing
  • Procure construction, maintenance, educational, and operational materials
  • Ensure timely availability of supplies and inventory management
  • Develop and maintain approved vendor database and supplier relationships
  • Monitor procurement budgets and cost optimization initiatives

Administration & Campus Operations

  • Oversee all administrative functions of the campus (non-academic operations)
  • Supervise administrative and support staff including security, housekeeping, and maintenance teams
  • Ensure smooth daily campus operations and service delivery
  • Implement administrative policies and operational procedures

Facilities & Maintenance Management

  • Oversee building maintenance, infrastructure, and utilities management
  • Coordinate repair and maintenance activities
  • Ensure campus safety, cleanliness, and operational readiness
  • Monitor contractor performance for maintenance and development works

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage vendor contracts and service level agreements
  • Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers
  • Liaise with Head Office for procurement approvals and operational coordination
  • Handle stakeholder coordination including parents, service providers, and external agencies

Coordination & Compliance

  • Coordinate with academic leadership to support operational needs
  • Ensure compliance with institutional policies and operational standards
  • Maintain documentation and operational records
  • Support campus events, admissions operations, and institutional activities
 

 

Required Skills

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field
  • 8–12 years of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, and administration
  • Experience in education sector or service industry preferred
  • Gender & Age Preference: Male, 35–45 Years
  • ​Strong knowledge of construction materials and facility management preferred
  • Strong procurement and negotiation skills
  • Excellent market knowledge and vendor management expertise
  • Leadership and team supervision abilities
  • Strong administrative and operational management skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills
  • Budgeting and cost control experience
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

This is an Immediate position and candidates currently based in Karachi will be preferred.
